Korean cosmetics giant Amorepacific has appointed Giovanni Valentini as its new CEO North America and is effective from 1 June 2024.
Amorepacific with Valentini's new move aims to accelerate its growth in the North American market. Giovanni Valentini will be tasked with leading the group's strategic vision, including strengthening the region's organisational structure, optimising operations and championing the commercial objectives of core brands such as Laneige, Innisfree and Suwhasoo.
Valentini served as former CEO of Lancôme USA within L'Oréal's Luxe division, and also brings experience from previous leadership roles with Armani Beauty, Kiehl's and Unilever brands in different areas.
Amorepacific has experienced substantial sales growth in 2023, with sales in North America up 58% compared to the previous year.
