In the day of yesterday, BASF did official through a press release the appointment of Patricio Fitz Simon. The one, who until now was National Manager of Vengas in BASF Argentina, will henceforth occupy the position of Director of the Agricultural Solutions Division in Spain and takes over from Konstantin Krestchun.
Fitz Forms part of BASF from 11 years ago and in his path has occupied positions related with the world of the marketing and the sales, leading to his teams in countries like Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay and Argentina, country in which it has exerted his last role like commercial manager of the business Agro of BASF.
The aim that has in this new stage in Spain is to do grow the business to national level, taking into account the importance of the sustainability, the profitability for the agriculturalists, respecting the requests of the future generations.
Patricio Fitz has exposed his happiness after having assumed this new responsibility and that will work to attain the marked aim by BASF in this new professional: “it Is for me a big honour direct the Division of Agricultural Solutions of BASF in Spain and can add value to an organisation that comes having a history of a lot of success in the last years. Our focus is put in giving solutions to the agriculturalist of a sustainable and innovative way. For 2023 have saved a lot of novelties like the fungicide Revyona® in vineyard and fruit and the biological insecticide Velifer® in horticultural, that joins to the fungicide for cereals Revcare®, the big launching of this year. Besides, we will follow betting by the digitalisation of the Spanish field, especially of the hand of Agrigenio, our DSS (system of support to the taking of decisions), available for the moment for the crop of the vineyard.
