dsm-firmenich adds Nicole Mancini to its team of perfumers. Mancini will become Fine Fragrance Principal Perfumer in the North American team. The perfumer has more than 20 years of experience in the perfume industry and has been trained at the most prestigious schools in the field of perfumery and fragrances, such as the Givaudan School of Perfumery in France.
Mancini has a degree in psychology, something that helps her in her fragrance creation process as she says it helps her mind-body connection.
The new dsm-firmenich perfumer has worked at Givaudan as a perfumer in the Consumer Products division, specialising in personal care and air care brands. Subsequently, she was part of the Fine Fragance team in New York, specialising in retail brands, local fine fragrance and also celebrity and public figure brands. One of her most relevant works has been her participation in the fragrance of the Kylie Cosmetics brand, for which she won the Fragrande Foundation award in the United States.
Robin Mason, President of the company's Fine Fragrance North America, is delighted with the addition of Nicole Mancini: ‘She is a highly respected and recognised individual in the Fine Fragrance industry. Her passion for creating delightful and memorable scents will bring a fresh perspective to our team of perfumers.'
Mancini will focus on Fine Fragrance and cross-category creations and explained that he is proud to be part of a company with such a great track record in the fragrance industry as dsm-firmenich.
