Eurofragance incorpores three new roles in the company

The multinational fragrance company Eurofragance is adding new members to its management team to fulfil its strategic plan.

Clara Mena joins Eurofragance as Chief Operations Officer. Eurofragance also creates two new positions: Chief Market Officer and Chief Business Development Officer. These two new roles will be filled by Joan Pere Jiménez and Olegario Monegal.

In 2018, Laurent Mecier, CEO of the company decided to go for a matrix organisation of the company: "Since adopting this model, we have seen that merging our regional and global approaches has defined and executed successful strategies. This achievement is reflected in our continued results and the successful closing of our last strategic plan. Today, we are embarking on a new plan with solid financial health, proven efficiency models, as well as clear expansion targets. The aim is to strengthen our competitiveness and ensure sustainable growth in an increasingly demanding and changing environment."

Clara Mena will be responsible for strengthening the supply chain and operations to respond to demand on a global scale and maintain the level of customer service. "Throughout her ten years at Eurofragance, Clara has acquired extensive experience in supply chain management and operations, making her the natural choice for this strategic position," says Mercier.

The new position of Chief Market Officer will drive the achievement of Eurofragance's 2027 financial targets, setting KPIs across all eight subsidiaries, driving integrated customer relationship management (CRM) and the global roll-out of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Joan Pere Jiménez, who has been appointed to the position, has an impressive track record in the various positions he has held during his more than 10 years with the company, having led the EAT (Europe, Africa and Turkey) and Asia Pacific (APAC) subsidiaries, where, as Mercier says: "He has demonstrated a great ability to build teams of new talent".

Olegario Monegal will become Chief Business Development Officer, with which Eurofragance aims to be a reference partner for leading regional and international consumer goods companies. Monegal will lead the Global Business Units (Fine Fragrance and Home & Personal Care), the Marketing team and will focus on the commercial strategy of key strategic and potential customers. Monegal has brought valuable experience in global account management and major customer acquisition. Mercier comments: "He re-energised the Marketing department and developed business unit management."

In addition, Balwinder Rolley will assume the role of General Manager of the Asia Pacific region with the challenge of supporting regional expansion in line with the new strategic plan. She will bring her experience and leadership to achieve the objectives of the plan.
