The fragrance house Eurofragance welcomes Pelegrí Granel as the new Senior Perfumer. He has extensive experience in the fragrance creation sector, and Granel joins the company to strengthen the team of perfumers in the home care category.
The incorporation of Pelegrí Granel represents a significant advancement in Eurofragance's strategy to diversify and enhance its presence in the home care sector and expand its portfolio.
“I am very happy to join the Eurofragance team and to have the opportunity to enhance the Home Care area, a very motivating project that is truly being invested in. For me, in an industry that is constantly changing, it is essential to approach each project as a different story, from a creative perspective, with adaptability, and paying special attention to intuition,” Granel explained.
Regarding what the future holds, Granel points out the growing relevance of treating the home as a space for well-being. After the pandemic and the obligation to stay at home, consumers placed the home at the center and transformed it into a refuge. In the fragrance industry, this has translated into a boom in the home care category, where scented candles, fabric softeners, and other household products are becoming increasingly important to consumers, who seek not only to meet the functional expectations of the product but also to experience enriching sensory and emotional experiences.
Dolors Costa, Chief Fragrance Development & Innovation Officer, explained about the incorporation of the new perfumer that “Pelegrí Granel has deep experience in the fragrance sector that will be crucial to strengthen our specialization in the home care category.” She concludes: “With his incorporation, we take another step in our mission to offer exceptional solutions with our fragrances, always ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.”
