Shiseido will have an important change in the direction of the company from 1 January 2023. The one who up to now occupied the charge of general director of Shiseido in the region of China, Kentaro Fujiwara will be the president of the group and the director of operations.

Fujiwara Will take the relief of the that has been from 2014 the president and general director of Shiseido, Masahiko Uotani, that from the next year will be the president of the board of directors and at the same time, will exert the charge that had at present of general director. By his part, Fujiwará will assume the presidency of the group. Therefore, they will be together in the charge during a time: "we will work together during two years leading the company jointly and afterwards, will see what happens; I do not want to happen the baton of a day for another" explained Uotani in a press release of Shiseido.

The future president and director of operations forms part of Shiseido from 1991 and during his professional path has worked in Germany and in Paris like director of commercial operations. In the year 2011, Fujiwara assumed the role to be director of the company in South Korea, and later, received diverse functions in the management of the group in the Chinese country, until become in director of the company for China.
