Nuria Sisto assumes the leadership of Sociedad Española de Químicos Cosméticos. Sisto succeed To Maria Aurora Benaiges that has chaired the instutición during the last four years.
The new president was already a member of the SEQC for twenty years and takes on this new challenge with enthusiasm: ‘It is a great honour and at the same time an exciting challenge to represent the SEQC after 20 years as a member of the Board of Directors’.
The strategic objectives that have been set during Núria Sisto's term of office are to consolidate an online training programme and to continue to promote scientific excellence activities in the cosmetics and perfumery area. ‘We want to maintain the SEQC as a national and international reference, a recognition that we have achieved thanks to the work of our predecessors.
The Board of Directors, with the appointment of Sisto as the new head of the SEQC, is configured as follows:
