Unilever appoints new CEO for its Prestige division

Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson joins to Unilever again

Changes at the top of Unilever. The cosmetics and personal care multinational has chosen Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson to succeed Vasiliki Petrou. Gasco-Buisson returns to Unilever again following her time from 2020 to 2022, when she held the position of Global Brand Leader and P&L Owner for the Axe and Lynx brands. 

On her personal LinkedIn profile, Gasco-Buisson shared this new career move and announced that she will take up this new role from 1 November: ‘I have worked in the beauty industry for most of my career and I am delighted to be back to lead these brands and teams of entrepreneurial, talented and passionate people into the next chapter of growth.’ The future CEO of Unilever Prestige was also keen to highlight the work done by Vasiliki Petrou and also the group's President of Beauty and Wellness. 

Mary Carmen Gasco-Buisson leaves her position as CMO and Executive VP Global Business Units at Pandora, but has also been global director of marketing and innovation at Hugo Boss Fragrances and brand director at Olay, in its global skin care division and North America. 

Unilever Prestige includes ten premium beauty mascaras such as Living's Proof, Tatcha, Murad and Paula's Choice.
