The German global supplier of additives and speciality chemicals, Zschimmer & Schwarz, has appointed Carmina Alfonso as Global Head of Corporate Development at the company.
Zschimmer & Schwarz has created this position to coordinate the different areas that make up the company: Marketing, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A or Project Management and to unite all the movements in this new figure that will be occupied by Carmina Alfonso.
Carmina Alfonso holds a PhD in Chemistry and has more than seven years of experience in the chemical industry. She assumed this new role in the company in July, which will be key to the development and implementation of the group's strategy, which will offer a greater focus on the customer to provide chemical solutions tailored to the diverse needs.
Carmina Alfonso confessed that she takes on this new challenge with ambition and great enthusiasm: "This position is a great challenge: I am moving from one area, national, and one sector, cosmetics, to an international area with nine business divisions. I am enthusiastic about continuing to drive the company forward in this new role and I will continue to work as always with humility, companionship and responsibility".
