NIVEA leads sales growth of Beiersdorf

Nivea drives Beiersdorf. And so is Europe. The German company has presented its financial results for the first half of 2024 and is pleased with its growth. Sales in the first six months of the year were boosted by Nivea and Labello, which are responsible for double-digit growth in the group's turnover.

Beiersdorf achieved sales of more than 5.17 billion euros, 4% more than in the same period of the previous year, when it failed to reach 4.94 billion euros. Despite this, the company's profit remained unchanged, although there was a slight increase of 0.2%.

Europe has become the 'heart' of Beiersdorf. The European continent has led the sales of the German group with more than 2,330 million euros, 5.6% more than in 2023. The Americas is in second place in terms of contribution to the group with sales of 1,344 million euros, representing a growth of 3.4%. Africa, Australia and Asia recorded combined sales of 1.5 billion euros.

In April of this year, Beiersdorf issued a press release in which they were optimistic and modified their sales forecast for this year after record figures thanks to the Nivea brand products. The German group said annual sales growth would be between 6% and 8%, up 1 to 3 points from the initial sales forecast.

In addition, this June, the German company carried out an expansion of its offices in Spain that will be present in the technological district of Barcelona, specifically, in the Alt Building and that was a way to expand the business in Spain to have a production network ready for the future.
