Beginning convulso of year in The Body Shop. As it has advanced in scoop the portal of information Retail Week, Ian Bickley, who has served as interim CEO of the Natura group company, has left the position after becoming the property of the capital group fund Aurelius.

Last November saw the end of a long journey for The Body Shop and the Natura group, which was the sale of the business and had among its interested parties large firms and players in the cosmetics sector such as L'Oréal and Shiseido. Finally, it opted for the Aurelius group, which reached an agreement to acquire the brand for 238 million euros. Two months after the deal, Ian Bickley, who was acting CEO, has left the company.

Retail Week reports that this responds to the new direction the brand intends to take with the arrival of the new owner and indicates that "it is time to hand over leadership and responsibility". According to statements available to the news portal, spokespeople for The Body Shop have confessed that "The immediate focus of the management team will be the separation of Natura & Co and the continuation of the transformation outlined last year. The team will look deeply into all aspects of the business to develop a robust long-term strategy, underpinned by the right structure and operating model. This will include the appointment of a CEO in due course."
