Etnia Cosmetics does not resist and closes twelve years later. According to the regional media Valencia Plaza, the company has registered a loss of almost 10 million euros compared to 1.6 million euros the previous year.
The company, which once had almost 200 employees, now directly employed almost 130 people. Etnia Cosmetics products have been distributed in major cosmetics retailers in Spain, such as Druni and El Corte Inglés, and stood out for advocating the principles of cruelty free, sustainability among its facial creams, gels and mists. The brand had crossed borders and was even present in Latin American regions such as Mexico.
The cosmetics brand's website is no longer operational and consumers and followers of the company have expressed their surprise and sadness at the departure of Etnia Cosmetics.
Earlier this summer, the brand had declared the financial difficulties it was facing due to sales forecasts that it was unable to meet and was unable to meet its current debts.
