Rhode is hanging the 'for sale' sign. The celebrity Hailey Bieber's brand is looking for a buyer, according to numerous media related to the cosmetics and beauty industry.
The cosmetics and makeup brand Rhode was founded in 2022 and the model knew how to promote it through her social networks, sharing her routines and the ingredients she used to show off her skin so admired by her followers. According to sources familiar with the matter, Hailey Bieber's brand generates nearly $200 million in annual revenue.
Bieber, apparently, relies on the investment banks JPMorgan and Moelis to search for potential buyers, according to Fashion Network.
Rhode has references of skin care products, which went viral with the launch of its facial milk that promised to achieve the glass skin effect, its lip balm with the matching mobile phone case, and also makeup products such as its bronzer and blushes.
Hailey Bieber's brand, which has more than three million followers on Instagram, has become one of the brands that has best worked its marketing, like other celebrity brands such as Selena Gomez's, with Rare Beauty, or, previously, Kim Kardashian's brand.
However, Rhode Skin was also splashed by controversies. The company faced a legal lawsuit for trademark infringement filed by the fashion firm Rhode-NYC, although the process was resolved positively for Hailey Bieber.
