Primor Is of celebration in his 71 anniversary, and by double party. Según Has published Inforetail, the perfumery chain has more than 20 million customers a year and 3.6% of the market share and, as it has declared to the magazine Inforetail, they are ‘leaders in the beauty sector’.

The chain was founded in 1953 and opened its first shop in the centre of the Andalusian city of Malaga. It now has more than 250 points of sale in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. ‘Primor has grown in values encompassing honesty, investing in R+D+i and sustainability for the planet’, as company sources tell Inforetail.

This month, Primor wants to reward the loyalty and trust of its customers in the form of discounts and offers. Over the years, Primor's e-commerce has been able to accumulate an incessant number of references and brands, which means that today it has reached 40,000 references on its platform, launched in June last year.

Throughout its history, Primor has managed to position itself at the top of consumers' minds and snatch leadership from consolidated chains in Spain such as El Corte Inglés, which, as published by Kantar Worldpanel, saw its market share fall by 0.6 points in the first half of the year. It is now in a constant race with Druni, which after the merger with the Arenal chain, managed to overtake it in 2023.

Primor continues to open new shops and is preparing a major opening in Barcelona, specifically in Paseo de Gracia. This new point of sale has a surface area of 900 square metres distributed over two floors and work is already underway to adapt the establishment so that it can be operational before the end of the year. The Malaga-based perfume chain has also continued to open new points of sale in the Canary Islands, Burgos and Navarre.
