Puig is not putting up barriers. The Catalan cosmetics and perfumery group, which has recently debuted on the stock market and has just completed its first month, is now committed to expanding its logistics capacity and thus increasing its management capacity.
The Catalan company is now fulfilling its strategic plan checklist until 2027 and one of the objectives on its agenda was to expand its logistics capacity. To this end, it has rented a warehouse in Castellar del Vallés, according to the Catalan newspaper La Vanguardia.
The warehouse is owned by ID Logistics and has a surface area of 26,000 square metres in the Pla de la Bruguera industrial estate. Despite having already closed the deal, the warehouse is still under construction and will not be available until next year.
La Vanguardia, which has tried to obtain statements from the owners of the Catalan cosmetics firm, has found that they prefer to refrain from explaining the details of this new move. As the newspaper has been able to learn, Puig's new facilities are adjacent to the ID Logisctics logistics platform that already operates for Puig, with a warehouse that doubles the surface area of the one they have now rented.
Puig has already completed its first month on the stock market and has managed to boost its share price by more than 7%. The Catalan group continues to be the protagonist of the largest IPO in Spain and Europe this year.
