Symrise sees sales growth in 2024. An increase in demand and a solid positioning of the company has allowed Symrise's sales to grow by around 5% to more than 1.29 billion euros, compared to 1.23 billion euros in the same period last year.  Organic growth has grown by almost 11 points due to the increase in order volumes.

The company's new CEO, Jean-Yves Parisot, has expressed his satisfaction at seeing the company's growth and Symrise is optimistic for the coming months due to an increase in demand.

The business segment with the highest sales growth was the production and manufacture of speciality chemicals for ‘Scent & Care’. The business area related to the application of fragrances, aromas and cosmetic ingredients grew by more than 13.5% compared to last year, reaching 516 million euros.

Growth in the fragrances division has maintained a steady and dynamic growth, especially in luxury fragrances. The ‘Fine Fragrances’ segment recorded a double-digit increase compared to the same segment last year. Sales in the Consumer Fragrance area also grew in double digits, especially in body care and home care products.

The Flavour Molecules division also experienced double-digit growth in the first quarter. Sales in the Cosmetic Ingredients division also developed organic sales growth. The main drivers of this growth were EAME and some regions in Latin America. The sun protection and micro-protection business area has seen a strengthening in sales numbers this year.

The company expects to continue to grow this year and expects to grow by 5-7%. Symrise aims to grow its sales to between 7.5 and 8 billion euros by 2028.
