Virospack has announced that it will collaborate with BrightSideUp Upcycled Lighting Design. The partnership was unveiled during Milan Design Week 2024. This collaboration highlights the versatility and quality of Virospack's glass products, demonstrating their potential beyond traditional packaging applications.
BrightSideUp, known for its creative approach to upcycling and lighting design, seeks to provide functional yet aesthetically pleasing solutions to the material flows of glass companies. By reusing glass waste as a source material for recycled designs, BrightSideUp creates stunning and sustainable lighting creations. Its services range from large bespoke installations to concept development for smaller units, all offered through its upcycling platform that contributes to a more sustainable future. In addition, BrightSideUp collaborates with local art academies and design schools to develop designs and co-produce them in social work centres. This project is part of a European Union initiative to promote the value of upcycling and encourage collaboration between EU countries.
