On June 18-19, 2025, Barcelona will host the 6th edition of the Barcelona Perfumery Congress (BPC). This edition will feature 100 exhibitors from 12 countries and over 2.000 professional attendees, positioning it as the most significant perfumery innovation event in Europe in 2025. The congress, organized by Beauty Cluster, has the backing of the key international industry players.
The congress will cover topics from the olfactory science to cutting-edge innovations in perfumery
The BPC attracts professionals from various areas including fragrance creation, marketing, new technologies, olfactory research, packaging, raw materials and ingredients. It is a modern, global and in-person event that focuses on high-value educational content and serves as a platform to showcase Spain's strong innovation capabilities in the perfumery industry. Attendees will have the opportunity to connect, explore sensory experiences, and drive business development.
For the first time the congress will include a dedicated exhibitio area for niche perfumery brands
The congress will cover everything from olfactory science to fragrance innovation and, for the first time, will feature a dedicated space for niche perfumery brands called "The Fragrance Atelier". It will also include a cultural exhibition developed in collaboration with the Ernesto Ventós Foundation, along with other sensory activities designed to enhance the visitor experience.
One of the key highlights of the event is the Barcelona Perfumery Awatds, which recognize innovation across the entire fragrance value chain. The awards cover areas such as olfactory research, raw materials, fragrance houses, packaging, industry, influencers, technology and digitalizatiin. The event also features a Lifetime Achievement Award, which in the last edition was presented to master perfumer Ramón Monegal.
Strengthening International Recognition in 2025
The 2025 edition marks a milestone in the BPC's international growth, having tripled the numer of international exhibitors compared to the 2023 edition. Countries such as India, France, Italy, the UK, the USA, China, Japan, Argetina, Brazil and Egypt will be represented by top-tier companies from across the fragrance industry's value chain.

BPC is organized by Beauty Cluster, an association of 250 Spanish comapnies in the cosmetics, perfumery, and personal care industries. The BPC 2025 will take place at La Farga Exhibition Center in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, a city home to major perfumery industry players such as Firmenich, Perfumerías Facial and Quadpack Group.
