Cantabria Labs inaugurates an R&D&I centre after renewing its agreement with MIT for three more years. This centre is the result of its commitment to innovation and research and is located within the MaSID (Madrid Science Innovation District) complex in Madrid, which is based in Tres Cantos, and has listened to the company's needs to make it as complete as possible.

MaSID states that "it has the most modern infrastructures and state-of-the-art resources to contribute to the development of new ingredients and proprietary technologies".

Juan Matji, president and founder of Cantabria Labs, has expressed his satisfaction with this new step for the company: "We are happy to inaugurate this innovation centre on the MaSID campus in Madrid. The commitment to research and innovation is a constant in the history of Cantabria Labs and one of the keys to our products being so effective".  Susana Rodríguez, CEO and General Manager, explained that having this laboratory is a logical step and that the action is part of the company's strategy.

This 500 square metre space is expected to optimise the resources dedicated to basic research, instrumental techniques and formulation for the development of pharmacological products, cosmeceuticals and food supplements.

MaSID is the first private science and innovation district created in Spain, offering services for the development of Life Science and R&D projects.
