Fragance Science is moving to Castellolí. The Catalan company dedicated to the creation of fragrances has announced the construction of new facilities in the industrial sector of Can Parera de Castellolí. The company is based in Olesa de Montserrat and plans to move to Castellolí by the end of the year.

The company currently employs 170 workers and with this new move it expects to be able to employ up to 250 workers.

The surface area of the new factory will be 20,000 m2 and the company announced it on the same land where the factory will be built, together with the mayor of Castellolí, the president of the Mancomunitat de la Cuenca de Òdena, the mayor of Igualada and the CEO of Fragrance Science, Toni Cabal. During the event, the attendees were also shown the plans of the new construction and Cabal wanted to highlight the great growth that the company has experienced: ‘we started with only five workers and a dream that is now moving forward with the construction of this new factory, laboratories and offices that will be the largest perfume factory in Spain with an estimated production capacity of 40 million kilos of fragrances per year, eight times more than the current production’.

The CEO of Fragrance Science also wanted to publicly highlight the support of Banc Sabadell, which has financed an important part of the investment, but has detailed that a significant part has been covered with the company's own resources.
