The edition 2024 of the Digital Beauty Awards (DBA) already has winners. The awards gala of the fourth edition of the main digital awards for cosmetics, perfumery and personal care was held last Thursday 21 November at Cinesa Diagonal, Barcelona.  

An expert jury faced the arduous task of choosing the three best for each of the twenty-one categories. A total of 73 companies and professionals received awards for their work and innovation in the digital environment. 

 
 

Promoted by the Beauty Cluster, the Spanish cluster of cosmetics, perfumery and personal care, the DBA awards recognise the best companies, professionals and initiatives in digitalisation and e-commerce in Spain. 
 
The awards were judged by a panel of experts in digitalisation, e-commerce and marketing and communication in the beauty sector. Silvia Zaragoza, eCommerce Key Account Manager at Beiersdorf Dermocosmetic Division; Rosa Sagal, Senior Business Developer at TERRITORY Influence; Patricia Carballedo, General Manager at Asociación Española del Retail, Clara Hernández, Creative Director at SO Media Group and Olga Tarín, journalist specialising in lifestyle, beauty, health, fitness and wellness.  

 

The gala began at 19:00h in the evening, with the institutional welcome by the president of the Beauty Cluster, Marc Crous, who thanked the attendance and the ambitious projects that were presented and encouraged the companies to continue innovating. The event was presented by the director of the Beauty Cluster and the Digital Beauty Awards, Ivan Borrego. The awards were presented by different professionals from the sector. At the end, the date of the next edition was exclusively announced: it will be in June 2026 and for the first time it will accept international nominations. 

 

Once again, the organisers wished to award 4 honorary prizes to professionals with extensive experience in the sector. On this occasion, the winners were: 

  • Gema Herrerías: For her contribution to training, dissemination of cosmetology and promotion of the figure of the health professional in social networks. 
  • Olga Tarín: For her contribution to the dissemination of beauty products and the beauty industry through journalistic rigour and honesty. 
  • César Tello and Adigital: For their contribution, from the Spanish Digital Economy Association, to the promotion of human and sustainable digitalisation. 
  • Camila Tomas: For her contribution to the digital transformation of the perfume industry and the dissemination of digital innovation.

  6. Best digital marketing campaign: 1st Bella Aurora, 2nd Foreo, 3rd 3ina. 
  7. Best digital marketing initiative: 1st Sephora, 2nd Cumlaude Lab, 3rd You Are The Princess and ScentXp (Puig). 
  8. Best digital marketing agency in Beauty: 1st The Beauty Makers, 2nd Labelium España, 3rd Bemypartner. 
  9. Best e-commerce beauty: 1st Sephora, 2nd Perfume's Club, 3rd Atida I Mifarma and Skinvity. 
  10. Best new e-commerce launch: 1st MiiN Cosmetics, 2nd Scentmate by dsm-firmenich, 3rd LABEAU ORGANIC. 
  11. Best new digital innovation in the sector: 1st Foreo, 2nd SkinScanner by NAOS, 3rd Scentmate by dsm-firmenich. 
  12. Best Digital Manager: 1º Sergi Parra | Sephora, 2º Raquel González | Pure Skincare, 3º Marta Moya | Mia Cosmetics and Gerardo Cañellas | Perfume's Club. 
  13. Best Technology Startup: 1st vitaboost.ai, 2nd SKINVITY, 3rd ScentXp, 
  14. Best digital transformation of a physical point of sale: 1st Perfumeria Júlia, 2nd Adaequo, 3rd Galileo Farma. 
  15. Best APP or digital platform: 1st Cantabria Labs, 2nd Sephora, 3rd Matilde by Intellico and Pierre Fabre SKIN & CANCER. 
  16. Best digital transformation of a supplier company in the sector: 1st Croda Ibérica, 2nd DKSH, 3rd Ricardo Molina (a Caldic Company). 
  17. Best online training platform or initiative in the sector: 1st E-Beauty Business School, 2nd Retail Excellence by Pierre Fabre Academy, 3rd SVR Laboratories. 
  18. Best industry communicator: 1st Carmina Alfonso, 2nd Dr. Pedro Catalá of Twelve Beauty and 3rd Helena Rodero and Chen Yue,  
  19. Best tiktoker: 1st Lena de Pons, 2nd Helena Rodero, 3rd María Riballo. 
  20. Best instagramer: 1st Anna Fuster, 2nd Mª Paz Pellús, 3rd Tamar Troncoso. 
  21. Best influencer: 1st Helena Rodero, 2nd Nuclear Beauty, 3rd María Gallego Ruiz.
