Perfumes y Diseño takes over the license for Bimba y Lola perfumes

The Spanish fashion brand diversifies its offer and opens in the beauty field

The renowned Spanish fashion brand Bimba y Lola has announced its entry into the beauty sector, marking a milestone in its diversification strategy. This new project will be developed hand in hand with Perfumes y Diseño (PyD), a Spanish company specializing in perfumery and owned by the Trolez family.

Through a joint press release issued on Thursday, February 20, 2025, both companies revealed the strategic agreement whereby PyD will be in charge of the design, development, marketing and global distribution of Bimba y Lola's new fragrance range. Thanks to this partnership, PyD will act as the exclusive licensing partner for the Galician brand's foray into the competitive perfumery market.

This move adds to PyD's portfolio, which already successfully manages perfumery lines for brands such as El Ganso, Scalpers, Tous and the Nightology and Halloween collections, originally developed for Delpozo. It should be recalled that PyD was the full owner of Delpozo until its divestment in July 2023, at which time the firm passed into the hands of entrepreneurs Joaquín Trías and Enrique Mellado, although PyD retained ownership of the family of fragrances created for the brand.
