Estée Lauder loses its president. The US cosmetics giant has made official the resignation of Peter Jueptner, Estée Lauder's president who has been with the company for more than fifteen years.
Jueptner will step down as chairman on 1 April, at the end of the first quarter of the year, and will leave the company on 30 June. The company has not yet announced who will succeed Jueptner at the helm.
Peter Jueptner joined Estée Lauder in 2009 as senior vice president of strategy for new business development and transformation initiatives. Just seven years later, Jueptner was elected president for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was subsequently promoted to group president in 2022.
Recently, Bloomberg News explained on Monday that Estée Lauder is reviewing its portfolio of beauty brands, which could lead to restructuring and the sale of some of them. According to Bloomberg, Estée Lauder is working with Evercore Inc. to review its brands.
On 10 January, Ronald S. Lauder announced his retirement from the board of Estée Lauder and his daughter Jane Lauder has taken over his position. Ronald S. Lauder joined the company in 1964 and joined the board in 1968.
