Safic-Alcan strengthens its link with Nouryon in several European countries. The century-old French company specialising in the distribution of chemicals announced this summer a contract extension with Nouryon. Safic-Alcan issued a press release making it official that it was extending its contractual relationship with Nouryon for its cosmetic ingredients portfolio in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
The aim for Safic-Alcan is to expand and amplify his distribution to European level. The French company has indicated that in the agreement, the cosmetic ingredients that include are: Amaze® , Amphomer® , Arquad® , Biostyle® , Cekol® , Celquat® , Dermacryl® , Dry-Flo® , DynamX® , Elfacos® , ElfaMoist® , Elfan® , Ethomeen® , Flexan® , Hydrovance® , Natrasorb® , Purity™ , Resyn™ , SolAmaze® , Structure® and Tapioca™ .
Representatives of Safic-Alcan have expressed their satisfaction at reaching this agreement which will bring the company further recognition. José Lora, who serves as General Manager Life Sciences and is also a member of Safic-Alcan's Executive Committee, expressed his enthusiasm for the deal: "We are excited to further develop the existing collaboration in cosmetics and personal care with Nouryon, continuously meeting customer demands with innovative and efficient solutions". Nina Schäfer, Head of Sales at Safic-Alcan DACH and Jasper Dornbos, Sales Manager Life Sciences Benelux, explained in the press release issued by the company: "We are delighted to start our collaboration with Nouryon as the perfect addition to our product portfolio that will allow us to further expand our presence in the region of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
In January of this year, Safic-Alcan already reached an agreement with Nouryon to distribute two substances from its product portfolio in the United Kingdom, Portugal and Ireland. The distribution agreement was already effective, as Nouryon was already distributing both speciality chemicals to countries such as Armenia, Luxembourg, Turkey and Sweden, among ten other European regions.
