Symrise announces the opening of an office in Barcelona, Spain. The new space will serve as a hub for ideation, creativity and collaboration across the Scent & Care segment. Symrise will work more closely with customers and foster fragrance and cosmetic ingredient synergies.
Located in the heart of the city, the new office has been carefully designed to support close collaboration between colleagues and with clients, providing an inspiring space for the creation of innovative solutions that meet the needs of clients, brands and consumers.
The 600 square metre space accommodates Scent & Care's rapid expansion. It allows the segment to further strengthen its leadership in cosmetic ingredients and fragrances, both in Spain and abroad. The space is designed to reflect Symrise and Barcelona's unique style, combining natural elements with characteristic elements of the city, such as Gaudi's ‘trencadís’ or the ‘panots’ that dress the streets. The colours chosen to represent Symrise Scent & Care combine turquoise blue, which represents the element of water, the main ingredient of the perfume, and terracotta, a warm colour that evokes skin care.
Opening the doors of this new office marks an important and exciting milestone for Symrise Scent & Care and fosters collaboration and synergy between the two divisions. This will enable us to deliver high quality innovation tailored to the demands of today's dynamic markets and the future.
