The Catalan cosmetics brand founded almost a decade ago loses one of its co-founders. Mireia Trepat has announced that she is leaving the management of the company and closing this chapter of her life, although she will continue to be linked to Freshly Cosmetics as a partner and advisor.
Together with Miquel Antolín and Joan Miralles, who also left the company a few years ago, the three of them undertook this adventure in which only Miquel Antolín will be present, who will continue as CEO. Trepat has shared all the moments she has experienced at Freshly Cosmetics and everything she has learned over the last nine years.
Mireia Trepat leaves the company when the waters have calmed down somewhat due to the uproar caused by the restructuring plan that destroyed dozens of jobs at the Freshly Cosmetics headquarters and which was finally resolved with the help of lawyers. Freshly is now embarking on a new roadmap for the next five years with the aim of regaining its initial focus on product innovation and adapting to market transformations in which the cosmetics sector, and Freshly in particular, has seen a decline in e-commerce.
