The addition of microbiome, is another of the words that has entered this year in the RAE, in the field of science and its definition is ‘set of genes of the microorganisms that reside in a living being’. Another of the terms added, and one that is familiar to the sector, is micellar, and its definition is ‘belonging to or relating to micelles’.
