Germaine de Capuccini and the cosmetics sector are in mourning today following the death of Jesús Vidal, co-founder of the professional cosmetics firm. Vidal passed away last Sunday at the age of 79.

Jesús Vidal took over the presidency of the company in 2003 following the death of his mother, Carmen Vidal. He remained as president for seven years until 2011, when María Ángeles Vidal, from the third generation, took over the post. Years later, Jesús Vidal decided to take up the post again until 2016, when his son Raúl Vidal took over from him.

The company has issued a press release in which they wanted to highlight the importance of Jesús Vidal within Germaine de Capuccini: ‘His figure was essential for the impact and expansion of the brand internationally. Today, the entire Germaine de Capuccini family, beauticians, distributors, collaborators, workers and personalities of the professional cosmetics business will remember his enormous legacy’, they explained in their LinkedIn post.
