The Servei de Control Farmacèutic i Productes Sanitaris de la Generalitat de Catalunya has ordered the withdrawal of all cosmetics of the brand Sana Cosmética for not complying with the labelling rules, and also for not having presented the corresponding responsible declaration of the activity to the Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios (AEMPS). As Facua points out, there is also no evidence that these products have been reported to the European Cosmetic Products Portal (CPNP).

The Sana brand products affected by this alert are: solid travel shampoo, special solid shampoo for children, solid shampoo for oily hair, solid shampoo for normal hair, solid shampoo for dry hair, hair conditioner, solid hair conditioner, facial moisturiser, body moisturiser, liquid toothpaste, solid facial-body soap and lip balm.

For this reason, the person responsible for the manufacture and placing on the market has been required to cease manufacture and marketing and has ordered the recall of all units sold.
