MODACC joins with 8 European institutions to boost the training of youngsters in the textile sector

The project co-financed beside the program Erasmus+ boosts the training of youngsters of the sector téxtil in matter of sustainability and digitalisation

The textile industry and fashion has a very important weight in Europe: specifically it occupies to 1,3 million people in the continent and generates a turnover of 143 trillion euros. Besides, it is conformed by more than 140.000 PIMES.

With the aim to promote the innovation in the sector, sets up the project Transitions, that has the purpose to create some surroundings collaborative that allow to detect the needs so much of the market, as of the professionals of the sector and of design.

It consists in boosting the textile transition thanks to the development of new methods of learning, tools and practical that offer help to the students, young designers and also professional that allow them confront real challenges. Another of the aims that looks for to fulfil 'Transitions' is not another that create a program of modular training based in the industry 4.0 for a new system circulate of the Fashion and the textile.

The project has been co-financed by the program Erasmus+ of the European Union and has the participation of centres of investigation and technological, like the Institut d'Architecture Acançada of Catalnya and Stiftelsen Produktionstekniskt Centrum and Boras For Tekoindustrin Sweden. Also they form part of this program the centres of Professional Training (FP), Institutes of Upper Education, actors of public politics, PIMES and other sectorial organisations of Spain, Italy, Holland and Sweden.
