Companies in the Spanish textile retail sector contribute almost 20,000 million euros to the Spanish economy. In total, 19,800 million euros and 1.62% of Spanish GDP in 2022, as the AFI report points out.

In the same report explains that the fashion has turned into a 'engine' of the employment for the Spanish economy, since in 2022 registered more than 343.000 places of work, of which 163.000 are direct and 178.000 indirect and induced and represent the equivalent to almost 2% of the half membership in Spain during this year.
