The AINIA technology centre and the Science Park of the Miguel Hernández University (PCUMH) of Elche have signed a collaboration agreement to jointly organise INNOCOSMÉTICA, an event focused on boosting cosmetic innovation in the Mediterranean. This agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between university and industry, promoting the transfer of knowledge and the application of advanced technological solutions in the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sector.
The INNOCOSMÉTICA meeting will be held on 11 July at the AINIA facilities in Valencia. During the event, technology experts will present advances and innovative solutions for the cosmetics industry. In addition, the second edition of thethe Start-up Pitch Competition Innocosmética, in which will reward the best innovative technology-based start-ups in the cosmetics and personal care sector in the ‘Seed’ and ‘Growth’ categories. The former is aimed at start-ups in their initial phase or established with a maximum age of two years, while the latter is for start-ups established with a maximum age of five years.
Strategic partnership to boost innovation and the cosmetics sector
AINIA, with more than 35 years of experience in R&D&I, contributes its knowledge and technological capabilities in this strategic collaboration. For its part, for more than 15 years, the UMH Science Park has been contributing with its infrastructures and entrepreneurship programmes to promote the creation of innovative and technological companies. This agreement reflects the commitment of both entities to innovation, quality and the development of the cosmetics sector.
