As in previous editions, the total count will be understood as the ‘public vote’ and will be weighted together with the vote of the other members of the professional jury

With just over a month to go until the gala of the fourth edition of the Digital Beauty Awards, promoted by the Beauty Cluster, from Next in Beauty, we have opened the voting for the general public to expose who is the best tiktoker, instagramer and influencer of the year.  Next in Beauty users and readers will be able to choose their favourites until 10 November.

The candidates for best tiktoker are:  

  • Lena of Pons (@lenadepons): is one of the TikTokers who generates trust and closeness with her community. She has more than 285,000 followers and her training as a pharmacist specialising in dermo-pharmacy supports her advice, tips and recommendations. She created her own dermo-pharmacy website and distributes products and offers skincare consultancy services. In 2022, Lena de Pons was one of the candidates for ‘Best New Influencer’ and has new projects in mind related to streaming platforms such as Twicht. 

  • María Riballo (@mariariballo): Maria Riballo is a content creator at TikTok who has gained prominence in the beauty world. Her main focus is makeup, collaborating with renowned brands such as YSL Beauty, Clarins, and L'Oréal Paris. Through her content, she shares tutorials and opinions on beauty products, as well as suggesting specific looks as make-up options for festivals and events. 

  • Helena Rodero (@helena.rodero): pharmacist with 25 years of experience specialising in hair, she has managed to reach a younger audience and provide first-hand training and information so that her followers know how to choose the right cosmetics and all the tricks that make their hair care even better.

  • Nadia (@nadiskin): Nadia is a content creator on both TikTok, Instagram and also Pinterest. Nadia explains that she shares to her audience of 165,000 followers from a playful and educational point of view. She shares skincare tips and products, always with health in mind and with a focus on dermo-cosmetics. This is the second year he has been nominated for the DBAs, and the second year he has also been a finalist. 

  • Nerea Landa (Nerea.laanda): Nerea Landa, known on TikTok as @nerea.laandaa, is an influencer with a strong focus on the world of beauty. Her profile has a considerable community, where she shares content related to makeup, fashion and beauty product hauls. Nerea has collaborated with several renowned brands such as Chanel Beauty, Fenty Beauty, Dior, Rare Beauty, and Charlotte Tilbury, which reinforces her relationship with the beauty and personal care sector. In her videos, she does make-up tutorials and shares her opinion on luxury and mid-range products, which makes her a reference for her audience interested in the latest beauty trends. In addition, her casual and relatable style has helped her connect with her young audience, making her stand out within the beautytok community. 

  • Tamar Troncoso (@regolodos):  RegoLodos' (@regolodos) TikTok profile focuses primarily on skincare and cosmetic products. Its content is geared towards offering advice and explaining in detail the science behind the use of various skincare products. RegoLodos excels at teaching not only what to use, but also the why behind each recommendation, providing an educational approach that allows its followers to better understand how to effectively care for their skin.

The candidates for best Instagramer are:

  • Marta Masi (@martamasi5): Marta Masi has a total of 228,000 followers. On her Instagram account, they provide daily information with tips on health, beauty, skin care, menopause and nutricosmetics, as well as analysing the latest news from laboratories and the latest launches. 

  • Anna Fuster (@partners.increams): The founder of ‘Two Poles Cosmetics is in charge of this Instagram account and created this account in 2021. ‘After finishing my studies in dermopharmacy and cosmetic formulation, my friends started to ask me a lot about products, ingredients or pathologies that they or their children had. That's when I decided to open the account and gather all the information there. I realised that there is a lot of misinformation, a lot of noise in the sector, sometimes there are erroneous messages or messages that generate doubts, fears, and above all, many false myths that had to be disproved’. Her account has already surpassed the 100,000 followers barrier.  

  • Helena Rodero (@helena.rodero): has more than 1.2 million users on the platform and has positioned herself as one of the leaders in the cosmetics and hair care sector. A pharmacist with 25 years of experience specialising in hair, she has managed to reach a younger audience and provide first-hand training and information so that her followers know how to choose what they buy in cosmetics and all the tricks that take their care to the next level. 

  • Mª Paz Pellús García (@maypa_): Mª Paz Pellús is a pharmacist specialising in cosmetics and dermopharmacy who is known on Instagram as @maypa_. Her content focuses on skincare and cosmetics and also debunks myths thanks to her extensive scientific training and experience in the cosmetics sector. Her profile stands out for offering well-founded advice on ingredients and routines to improve skin health and covers the cosmetics industry also from a regulatory point of view. She currently has a community of almost 18,000 followers.  

  • Maribel Porthole (@farmaciaconsuegra): she is the visible face of @farmaciaconsuegra. She is a pharmacist with more than 20 years of experience in the dermopharmacy, skin care and personalised pharmaceutical care sector. About four years ago, she decided to explore the world of social networks in search of adapting to the digital transformation and serve as a support figure to all young people who had doubts and concerns about skin care and health. Now, her community continues to grow and she already has more than 140,000 followers.  

  • Tamar Troncoso (@regolodos): Tamar is the person behind RegoLodos. As she explains, she has a different vision of what a pharmacy is and that is what she was aiming for when she created her profile on the platform. She seeks to change the pharmacy as an establishment that you only go to when you need it, in case of illness, and for it to be the place where the consumer also finds a reference for advice on skin or hair. The Galician pharmacy already has a community of over 60,000 followers.  

The candidates to better influencer are:

  • Amparo Violero (@nuclear.beauty): the biologist and cosmetics development expert offers advice to her community of 77,000 followers about skin care, hair care and debunks myths and misconceptions about ingredients and active ingredients. 

  • María Galician Ruiz (@insidebeautypodcast):  Since November 2020, María has been disseminating content about beauty and the cosmetics sector with honesty and rigour through her podcast channel Inside Beauty. Relevant figures in the sector such as Gema Herrerías, Genoveva Lucena and Dr. Paloma Borregón have been featured on her channel, combined with solo episodes in which she provides useful information on ingredients and explains how to use cosmetics and warnings. María Gallego's podcasts already have over 100,000 listens on Spotify and she is proud of the community she has created, which always takes her opinion into account.
