The Korean cosmetic company Amorepacific has made an investigation in which it reveals new interesting data about the use of the ginseng fermented. As it signals Personal Care Magazine, the ginseng fermented causes an improvement in the lymphatic activation of the health of the skin.
This research, conducted at Korea University's School of Mechanical Engineering, could offer new insights into skin ageing and the maintenance of homeostasis.
The Amorepacific Research and Innovation Centre has conducted extensive and comprehensive tests to elucidate the interdependent relationship between the lymphatic circulation and the skin. In the research process, they cultured human skin cells and lymphatic-forming cells and tested the molecular biologics.
The research serves to clarify, in the words of the CTO of Amorepacific's Research and Innovation Centre, the correlation between human skin and lymphatic vessels. "This research is also significant as it confirms the efficacy of Amorepacific's long-term ginseng components," explained Suh Byung-fhy.
It was shown that the ingredient made from ginseng fermented naturally for 500 hours strengthens the skin barrier and supports the skin's internal circulation. The study finally concluded that the ingredient also supports the formation of healthy lymphatic vessels within the skin.
