The B Corp Beauty Coalition sets three key objectives for the next five years, which were ratified at the annual general meeting held on January 29, 2025. They focus on innovation for better practices, collaboration and shared learning, as well as political advocacy and awareness. Together, they address global issues and pool resources to help make beauty sector activities safer, cleaner, and more inclusive.

The first objective relates to leveraging the collective expertise of the coalition to create better manufacturing practices for beauty products and packaging. It addresses innovative solutions for packaging waste and the carbon footprint of the sector. Regarding formulas, it promotes the transition to safe ingredients and advocates for regenerative agriculture and sourcing.

The second objective is to create a platform where members can find collaborative tools, share ideas, and multiply their impact. Various events and networking opportunities will allow them to forge connections, build a community, and promote a spirit of coalition.

To extend this impact beyond the coalition itself, the third objective focuses on political advocacy and education to generate a common voice and drive change in policies and consumer awareness. These advocacy actions will promote positive change in specific aspects of the sector and foster inclusive practices. The coalition will seek to create partnerships with third parties to broaden its reach and develop resources to help consumers make responsible purchasing decisions.

In the words of Tim Eaves, supervisory board member and representative of Quadpack / Texen in the coalition: «The cornerstone of the B Beauty Coalition is the commitment to the vision of a thriving beauty industry grounded in integrity, collaboration, and sustainability. We believe that this sector can, and must, become a force for positive impact, and this is possible through the collective efforts of our members, who work together to lead change with courage, hope, and responsibility. We are nearly a hundred members with clear ideas, a voice, and now also the roadmap of strategic objectives needed to act».
