Quadpack Celebrated the past month of May his first year like B Corp, sharing his experiecia, attainments and challenges, of the hand of Tim Eaves, the CEO of the company, who described like the 'start of a maremoto' the increase of the number of companies that want to obtain this certification.
In this first year, the packaging company has worked with commitment and tenacity on the five pillars: environment, community, employees, governance and clients.
Tim, in his speech, noted that there was still much to do and room for improvement, but that he is aware of a continued commitment from the Quadpack community: "Within Quadpack I see a gradual transition towards conscious decision making and a greater awareness of our stakeholders, whether they are colleagues, clients, suppliers, communities or the environment. In this industry as a whole there are people questioning the impact of their decisions and we must continue to support each other in becoming more conscious every day. As you can see, this is the beginning of a tidal wave. Hopefully in a few years we won't have to talk about being conscious or not, about being a B Corp or not, because all companies have joined the effort to make a positive impact on the world."
Quadpack is part of the B Beauty Coalition, a global network that includes The Body Shop, Rituals, Dermo Phisioligique BeautyCounter and others. This organisation aims to improve sustainability standards in the beauty industry through a shared vision of 'beauty for good'.
