Kao expands and gains presence in Asia

It does so through the opening of a new Sensai shop in Indonesia

Kao strengthens its presence on the Asian continent. The Japanese cosmetic ingredients and active ingredients manufacturer is making its debut in Indonesia with a new shop that opened on 21 February in one of the country's most central and luxurious areas. 

Kao said the new space will offer a fully immersive experience in the world of luxury skincare, accompanied by exceptional service. 

Sensai's brand manager, Yoshiko Sakurai, explained that ‘Indonesia has a strong affinity for Japanese skincare culture, which includes the renowned double cleansing, double moisturising and sun protection’. Sakurai added that they believe introducing and introducing the Sensai brand and products in Indonesia will help expand their consumer base across the Asian continent. 

The launch represents another milestone in Kao's global Sharp Top strategy, which focuses on establishing leadership in premium market segments through high-value offerings,’ Kao Corporation explained in a press release.
