The past week WWD, advanced in his portal of news that L'Oréal opened the doors of his new subsidiary situated in the coast west of United States the past 24 August. This second headquarters in the United States, was thought by the company with the aim to agglutinate to NYX Professional Makeup, Urban Decay and Pulp Riot in a same space, since the three found in different locations.
This new centre is situated in Los Angeles, in the state of California and has been developed by Hackman Main Partners. It is a campus that has more than 9.200 square metres of surface and that will serve to give employment to more than 11.000 people (beside his first headquarters situated in New York). The space has been designed to boost the networking of the company, with wide playgrounds in the open air, a space in which the employees can practise exercise and especially, have wanted to take advantage of the abundance of natural sunlight in his installations. Previously, it treated of a plant of production of aeroplanes of Northrop Grumman.
Besides, this same space will receive the first institution that will work like an academy of professional products of L'Oréal in the Coast West, that will include courses of hair salon, technicians of combed and skills and catchment related with the classes of certification. At present, the academy has 40 students.
The inauguration of the new centre celebrated the past Tuesday 23 August. David Greenberg, CEO of L'Oreal USES, explained that this new space treats of a meeting point between all the brands of the wallet of L'Oréal: "All the marks of L'Oréal now have a home here in California. This is an emergent culture of music, television and cinema, and all are linked to the beauty."
