As it has published the agency of Korean news Yonhap, South Korea registered a record figure in matter of exports of cosmetics the past 2021. The Asian country surpassed the 10 million wones (8,100 million dollars) for the first time in the history.
The data offered by the Ministry of Security of Foods and Medicines, indicated the increase of the exports of the cosmetics, specifically, 21,3% with regard to the previous year. With this figure, South Korea turned into 2021 in the third exporting elder of cosmetics of the world, only by behind France and United States exporting to a total of 153 countries.
