Univar Solutions enters into an agreement to be the official distributor of ImDerma Laboratories' cosmetic actives in the United States. ImDerma offers a range of botanical actives and functional ingredients, such as the Imdermalab Peptide X and MolecuPure series of purified botanical actives.
The agreement between the two companies will apply to ingredients dedicated to skin care, sun care and colour cosmetics and will also serve to offer sustainably sourced botanicals using environmentally friendly extraction technology.
James Peterson, vice president of Univar Solutions' beauty and personal care division, explained that they are pleased to add ImDerma to their brand portfolio as one of the brands in the market that is able to differentiate itself from the rest.
Mark Huang, CEO of ImDerma has indicated that Univar Solutions' expertise will be able to deliver improved performance in the area of sales, marketing, formulation and customer service. "We are delighted to introduce our ingredients in North America. This partnership will also strengthen our position for future growth with access to their distribution and transportation network," explained the company's CEO.
ImDerma is based in Taiwan and focuses on dermal and analytical science to support ingredient development.
