Dentaid closes its training cycle with more than a thousand trained dental hygienists

Dentaid's training programme, ‘Aula Dentaid’, has returned to face-to-face training for more than a thousand dental hygienists trained in nine cities in Spain

Dentaid Culminates his cycle of formation Classroom Dentaid 2024, receiving to more than 1.000 higienistas dental of all Spain in his return to the presencialidad after the pandemia. During the celebrated sessions in 9 cities of all the country, the professionals of the health bucodental have benefited of a program focused in the update and handle clinical of the sangrado gingival.

The courses have included a review detailed of the factors that cause the sangrado of encías, like the data epidemiológicos of the illnesses periodontales and periimplantarias, and the anatomy of the soft tissues periodontales and periimplantarios. This edition 2024 has marked a landmark with the turn to the face-to-face format of Classroom Dentaid, allowing the return to the classrooms and the direct contact among the formadores and the assistants, favouring a more interactive and practical learning. The sessions carry in cities like Santa Cruz of Tenerife, San Sebastián, Valencia, Seville, Barcelona, Alicante, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela and Madrid, spanning all the national territory.

This 2024 edition marked a milestone with the return to the face-to-face format of Aula Dentaid, allowing a return to the classroom and direct contact between trainers and attendees, favouring more interactive and practical learning. The sessions were held in cities such as Santa Cruz de Tenerife, San Sebastian, Valencia, Seville, Barcelona, Alicante, Toledo, Santiago de Compostela and Madrid, covering the whole of Spain.

Dr. Ana González, periodontist and speaker of the Aula Dentaid course, points out that ‘training courses like this one help to increase the theoretical and practical knowledge of dental hygienists, which they can easily apply in their day-to-day work immediately’.

Patricia Antón, Head of Medical Visiting at Dentaid, stresses the importance of specialising professionals for comprehensive patient care: ‘At Dentaid, we are committed to continuing to offer high-quality training to be at the forefront of scientific and clinical advances’. Since the creation of this continuing education programme in 2007, the mission and commitment of Aula Dentaid is to improve oral health and the quality of life of the population through the continuous reference training of professionals in the sector and the establishment of optimal conditions and tools to improve practice in the dental clinic and pharmacy, which is completed with the organisation of symposiums, talks, webinars, meetings with different universities and training sessions in pharmacies, among others.
