The Beauty Business School reforms its educational model without losing its quality and essence. The training entity belonging to the Beauty Cluster presented the latest details of the e-learning platform on 30 October.
The e-Beauty Business School, now also known as "2e-BBS", is the platform that will train both online and asynchronously all professionals in the cosmetics, perfumery and personal care sector who are looking to stay up to date and want to deepen their knowledge in the industry. In addition, they will be able to learn about the different branches and topics of the sector.
As the director of the e-BBS, Melissa Torrés, indicates, it is expected that by 2024, 65% of the courses will be related to specific topics related to Beauty, while the remaining 35% will be devoted to training more closely linked to softskills, transversal skills of general interest and management.
The subjects to be taught at the e-Beauty Business School have been grouped into four main blocks:
- Technical specialitys
- Technical-cosmetic
- Technical-perfumery
- Regulatory (to be considered at both national and international level)
- Marketing and Communication in Beauty
- Internationalisation/Export
- Beauty Tech And E-commerce in Beauty
- Management
- Personal and professional skills
- Other trainings
60% of the courses will be aimed at professionals who are looking to start or acquire a new basic knowledge of the topics, 30% will be aimed at professionals who have a more advanced knowledge of the field and 30% will be aimed at professionals with more advanced knowledge of the field. The remaining 10% of these courses, on the other hand, are intended to broaden and focus on specific topics and are aimed at professionals with more experience in the sector.
Online training aims to facilitate the democratisation of knowledge and allows the professional to have access to the contents with total freedom, offering the greatest possible flexibility. The platform used by the e-BBS is Learnworlds and gives companies the possibility to contract an annual corporate subscription and access to the dashboards of all courses in order to monitor enrolments and the progress of the people in their organisation. Thanks to this, they will be able to access the varied and wide range of training courses on offer.
There are three types of access to enjoy the universe of knowledge that lies behind the new Beauty Business School platform:
- Ad hoc: Purchase of one or more individual courses on a personal basis. If the professional is working on behalf of a Beauty Cluster partner company, he/she can benefit from a 20% discount on the general price of the course(s).
- Premium: Individual annual subscription: access to all online training courses.
- Corporate: Annual company subscription: fee according to individual licences ordered. In this case, we offer an additional 20% discount if the company decides to subscribe before 31 December 2023
