Wild Rain Cosmetics has launched a new depigmenter. The brand describes it as a powerful depigmenter to treat the appearance of new spots on the face and décolleté, while whitening and evening out skin tone.

Wild Rain Cosmetics' depigmenting cream, Mangrove, is presented as more than just a treatment; it is a promise of confidence and well-being. The active ingredients work diligently to fade melasma, sun spots and age spots, and you begin to see the changes. Day by day, those imperfections you once worried about fade, revealing more even, radiant skin.

The product contains 1% kojic acid and is a dual-action depigmenting agent: on the one hand, it is capable of blocking the conversion of Tyrosine to DOPA and from this to Dopaquinone, and on the other hand, it is capable of inhibiting the transformation of Dopachrome to Eumelanin.  It also contains 1% Hexyl Resorcionol, a phenolic lipid with depigmenting and anti-ageing properties. As an inhibitor of photo-ageing processes, it is able to protect collagen and structural proteins from glycation processes. These ageing processes are irreversible, but thanks to this active ingredient we protect the structural proteins and inhibit their development. It also improves DNA repair processes. On the other hand, it effectively inhibits the production of melanin, with a higher efficacy than hydroquinone. This double result makes it a key ingredient of choice for skin lightening, anti-ageing, skin protection and tone unification.

This depigmentant also contains 2% phytic acid, which has several actions. On the one hand it is an antioxidant as it is an iron chelator and therefore prevents skin lipid peroxidation and free radical formation. Phytic acid is also an enzyme tyrosinase inhibitor, preventing melanin formation and skin pigmentation. It also contains glycolic acid (2%), which is one of the most widely used AHAs in cosmetics thanks to its high and broad effectiveness.
dermal strata.

Arbutin, which is also present at 4%, is a hydroquinone glycoside obtained by chemical synthesis. Thanks to its similar structure to tyrosinase, it acts as a competitive inhibitor in the oxidation process, inhibiting the formation of melanin. It depigments the skin and mitigates the formation of age spots, freckles and pigmented lesions. We also find nicotinamide at 3%, a molecule found in the Vitamin B complex. It has a mild depigmenting action that synergises and strengthens with other sebum-regulating active ingredients. Among others, we find liquorice extract (0.1%), Chromabright® (0.3%).
