Epara's moisturising cream-gel brings dehydrated skin to life and minimises the effects of pollution and light from screens. Unlike other moisturisers in this range initially designed to respond to the specific skin needs of women of colour - this new inclusive cream does not come in a jar, but in a refillable pot with airless technology. While the moisturising cream-gel protects the skin, Quadpack's Regula Airless Refill pack preserves the formula from external contamination.

"We wanted the packaging to be airless, as it maintains the integrity of the formula," explains founder Ozohu Adoh, "but the main advantage is that it is refillable. As a luxury brand, we need packaging that is effective and attractive, but also sustainable. We are excited about the idea of offering refillable products and this is the packaging that signals the beginning of this new approach. The key to getting users to embrace this concept is that it is simple and convenient. Our customers are busy, professional women, so it will only work if it's easy."

Epara plans to market the refills early next year, is defining their logistics and is creating video tutorials on their use and recycling.

The packs are produced and decorated at Quadpack's manufacturing plant in Germany. The colour of the outer pots matches the rest of the range, with screen printing reflecting the brand's identity. The inner 50ml bottles are natural, uncoloured, visible through the transparent outer so consumers can see when they need a refill.

As with the other products supplied to Epara, Quadpack also provides the secondary packaging for the moisturising cream-gel. The outer box is made from premium cardboard, embossed with an elegant Damask pattern and decorated with black foil.

Epara is currently working with Quadpack on the management and logistics of refills. Adoh says of the partnership: "Quadpack has always been very professional. Their products deliver what they promise and, while quality is important, it is our relationship that really matters.
