Eurofragance, the multinational fragrance house, presents five new fragrances at Beautyworld Middle East, the leading trade fair for the beauty industry in the Middle East, held in Dubai. These five creations, designed by the company's perfumers, are based on its new captive Euphorion™, an exclusive ingredient of the Eurofragance ICON palette, known for its fresh olfactory profile that gives fragrances an intense identity, even in the smallest of doses.
With this collection of fragrances, Eurofragance responds to some of the most relevant trends in perfumery today, such as the interest in emotional connection through fragrances, multi-sensory experiences, along with Eurofragance's strong commitment to sustainability. Each fragrance has been designed to evoke deep and meaningful experiences, and with Euphorion™ as a key ingredient, they combine notes that reflect contemporary lifestyles and seek to connect with the emotions of today's consumers.
- Pearl Rhapsody: Created by senior perfumer Olaf Larsen in line with the trend of reconnecting with authenticity and exploring cultural roots, Pearl Rhapsody is a woody, ambery fragrance that evokes local heritage and a commitment to sustainability, appealing to a desire for authenticity and a return to essentials.
- Disco KHLJ: captures the spirit of today's celebrations, where the need to gather and enjoy community comes alive. Developed by Soizic Beaucourt and Julia Rodriguez, this fruity, ambery fragrance reflects the festive energy of disco along with Khaleeji rhythms, creating an experience that celebrates conviviality and the return of social life.
- Soul Frequency: With a more citrusy feel, this fragrance, developed by Belén Garcia, reflects the wellness and self-care trend that is gaining prominence in the industry, responding to the demand for fragrances that vibrate with personal balance and inner connection.
- Pixel Beat: a fruity floral fragrance, infused with nostalgic sweetness, which is in line with the trend of exploring vintage and reinterpreting childhood memories; elements that are captivating consumers in search of sensory experiences that reconnect them with their past. It has been created by perfumers Angéline Leporini and Lucas Sieuzac.
- Neo Rave: with notes of cardamom and incense, this is a woody and aromatic creation by perfumer David Mallo that embraces the future, and is inspired by the emerging trend of the metaverse and the exploration of digital worlds.
An olfactory and musical route only
Eurofragance presented its new selection of fragrances at its 210 m2 stand, located at number S2-C23, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the ‘Scentphony’ experience: a multi-sensory festival that brings together the rich cultural heritage of the Middle East, where music and fragrance converge to create an unforgettable sensory experience.
In this collaborative project, musicians Ahmed Younis and Essa Hashemi created five musical pieces that inspired the development of five fragrances by Eurofragance's perfumers. This process of artistic co-creation has resulted in soundscapes that enrich the olfactory experience through music.
- Pearl Rhapsody: inspires a symphony of Gulf soul, where the rhythm of the fishermen's drums meets the serenity whispered by the desert. The melody unfolds as the sun sets over the dunes and the waves of the sea. And the echoes of tradition and nature have been captured by a fragrance that symbolises a timeless land ready for change.
- Neo Rave: This is the strongest song in the collection, with powerful synthesizers and techno beats to dance to. It is an energetic composition that pushes the boundaries between traditional and modern sounds. Deep bass lines and vibrant beats are overlaid with subtle Middle Eastern motifs, creating an intense and immersive listening experience. Elements of trance and techno are infused to produce a futuristic version of cultural fusion.
- Soul Frequency: A composition that delves into the healing power of music with specific frequencies known for their therapeutic effects, overlaid with house beats that inspire physical expression.
Pixel Beat: This upbeat pop song incorporates fun electronic sounds and catchy melodies. Inspired by the digital age, it features chiptune elements reminiscent of classic video games, combined with modern pop sensibilities. - Disco KHLJ: This song celebrates togetherness by fusing heavy Khaleeji beats with energetic disco rhythms. It combines the percussive energy of traditional Arabic instruments, such as the doumbek and riq, with the infectious rhythms of classic disco. The result is a vibrant, dance-inducing song that embodies communal joy and unity.
EuphorionTM, innovation 2024
Euphorion™ is Eurofragance's third captive ingredient and the first synthetic within its Captives collection of the ICON palette, marking a new era in the company's universe of exclusive ingredients. Designed at the Eurofragance Innovation Centre in Barcelona, this captive redefines freshness in the perfumer's palette, bringing a unique and persistent olfactory profile with green notes that evoke a sense of vibrant naturalness. Inspired by the quintessence of joy and optimism, it stands out for its energising facets that provide an intense olfactory identity even in small doses, ideal for fine fragrances seeking a distinctive character.
It acts as the unifying element that weaves together the essence of the five fragrances. It unites the olfactory journey, but also inspires a special musical chord, harmonising the spirit of the five songs.
