This fragrance for air freshening has been designed by Iberchem, the Murcian multinational and largest fragrance manufacturer in Spain, as a gift for the 7th edition of the ECOS festival in Sierra Espuña, capturing the identity of a unique territory.
"The smell allows us to travel through time and space, just like the echo, it brings back memories of a past time, of something that already sounds familiar," says Encarni Lorente, perfumer in charge of the fragrance. "This is how 'Ecos de Sierra Espuña' captures the olfactory identity of this territory and takes you from your bedroom to a place that conquers the memory of those who visit it", she adds.
From the intense smell of pine and lemon on a rainy day, to the warm and spicy smell of honey and saffron of its gastronomy, this fragrance is based on the surveys carried out among the residents of the municipalities of the Sierra Espuña Territory, who have given their opinion on the smells that best represent their identity.
Thus, pine, rosemary and lemon are perceived in the top notes, followed in the body by notes of orange blossom, honey, saffron and myrrh, to close with a base of amber and musk. The fragrance is inspired by elements of the nature of Sierra Espuña, making use of different essential oils in its composition and local raw materials, such as rosemary and lemon.
