The successful collaboration between Aptar Beauty and Quadpack continues with Iconic Woodacity® 2.0. Launched a year ago, this refillable lipstick has been designed with greater sustainability in mind and an appealing consumer experience, bringing together the two companies' expertise in lipsticks and wooden components.
Iconic Woodacity® incorporates Aptar's Iconic mechanism, encased in a mono-material wooden casing from Quadpack. The new edition features a refined concept with a wider choice of wood types and finishes and a new patented 'Solo Snap' closure system.
The casing of Iconic Woodacity® is made of ash or maple wood sourced from sustainably managed European forests with PEFC and FSC® certification on request.
A new feature of this pack is the Solo Snap system, which is designed to provide a classic, timeless lipstick gesture. Quadpack's wood experts have created a snap closure thanks to a new, patented wooden inner structure that requires no additional plastic or other material parts. Consumers simply remove the cap and press until they hear a click to replace it.
Iconic Woodacity® 2.0 is 100% "made in Europe": Aptar Beauty manufactures the mechanisms at its facility in Chavanod (France) and Quadpack's casings are sourced from its plant in Catalonia (Spain).
