Symrise introduces a new ingredient for sun care formulation. It is SymSol® ProSun, an ingredient that facilitates the sun protection factor with crystalline UV filters and can be used in facial care formulations and offers a pleasant skin feel.
The German company's new ingredient responds to consumer demand for an even higher sun protection factor and improved facial care properties. The new active contains solubilisers that improve the effectiveness of UV filters and help stabilise the formulas.
SymSol ProSun is an optimised blend of emollients that solubilises crystalline UV filters and prevents them from re-crystallising.
The new active ingredient can be integrated into both adult and children's sun care products, sunscreens with mineral UV filters, sun face creams, oils, sprays, lotions or sticks as well as make-up and lipsticks.
