The pink tsunami continues almost a month later. With only a month to go until the first month of the release of the record-breaking Barbie film at the box office, it continues to conquer the cosmetics sector. This time, Lush has succumbed to the pink phenomenon.
As the portal specialising in beauty and cosmetics, 'Cosmetics Business', has announced, Lush has opened a pop-up store in London that has a peculiarity: everything is based on Barbieland and Barbie.
The shop will be open from 10 August until 21 September and features a kitchen and bathroom inspired by Barbie's home. In addition, the British cosmetics firm has launched one of its star products based on Barbie: its bath bomb. This time, it has Barbie's characteristic 'B' shape and is on sale both online and in all its shops.
Lush uses this strategy to attract fans of the film and the mythical doll and takes this opportunity to present its Barbie-inspired products, also born from the agreement and collaboration with Mattel, who has the doll's licence. As already mentioned, its mythical bath bomb, but also its 'bubble bar' in the shape of Barbie's car. In the same shop you can find their 'Barbie Pink' shampoo, which stands out for its marshmallow, strawberry and citrus scent. Other outstanding products are its masks, bars of soap, perfumes and exfoliators, all in packaging that recall the mythical doll and her most famous accessories.
